Selling Workshop manuals is a crime?

I do not think that the website owners that charge you for PDF give money to the respective authors so, for example:

I will not put the links for respect but I think is easy to know it. I wonder why this is a business.

If I charge for something that I do not have the right to sell, I wonder why manufacturers are not against this. If you need manual, let me know.

You can have the users manuals at the website of BMW for example, and sometime thisis enough. Thanks fot that. Also I remember for cars Mercedes and Audi.

I think use of Bayer logo is not very well seen by some marketing authorities, so, despite I own several beemers, maybe it's better you go to linked website if  you want download manuals for free.

And if you sell something its not yours by money, or you destiny this money for charitty and its a donation or you need to wear a black flag.

Information must be public, special for vehicles that are more than 40 years old and even at internet it's hard to have staff.

Let me know what do you think.... corsairs or freedom of technical information
